Triple Threat

Got to hang out with Nate from Triple Threat today. Its a non-profit that helps urban students realize their potential. Its an awesome charity. One of the things they do is take old bicycles in donation. They take inner-city students and teach them how to fix them up. All the while they teach them about making more out of their lives, and how to reach out into the community.

They fix up two bikes during the program. One they donate to local shelters for under privileged kids. The second one they get to keep for themselves. A very cool program. I am hoping that we get to work together in the future, because these guys are the real. They are out there reaching out and making a difference everyday. I also got to look through their warehouse at close to 300 bikes they have waiting to get fixed up. So cool. Check em out at their website at http://triplethreat.org/ and maybe you can help, or start something just like it. I just love seeing people who dont just say they want to make a difference, but actually do it. Thanks for the inspiration Nate.

peace - love - recycle
